Overview
Designed the 2024 Visual Communication Design publication celebrating graduating seniors at SAIC. The book centers on digital distortion as a metaphor for the chaotic, non-linear creative journey of design students.
Challenge
Challenge conventional design aesthetics by finding beauty in imperfection and visual glitches. Create a meaningful publication that reflects growth, experimentation, and the relationship between designers and digital tools.
Goal
Translate an abstract concept of distortion and resilience into a cohesive editorial system. Balance experimental layouts with readability while maintaining a strong narrative flow.
Results
Produced a dynamic and immersive publication that integrates glitch aesthetics, personal reflections, and disrupted layouts. Created a shared visual experience that celebrates process, resilience, and creative community.
